Fully Local Transcribe 日本語
English version — early access

Transcribe the recordings you're not allowed to upload.

Fully Local Transcribe is a Windows app that turns audio into text entirely on your PC. No cloud speech engine, and your audio is never sent anywhere. Built for professionals and teams that work under GDPR, HIPAA, research-ethics or strict data-sovereignty rules.

The app is available in Japanese today. The English interface is in development — early-access members get it first.

Cloud transcription is everywhere now. So are the rules against it.

General-purpose AI tools can transcribe a file in seconds — by uploading it. For patient interviews, client calls, HR meetings and legal consultations, that upload is the problem.

Why it's different

Fully local, by design

Speech recognition runs entirely on your PC — there's no cloud engine to switch off. Audio and transcripts stay on the machine unless you turn on optional email or Notion delivery yourself. Your recordings never reach us.

Made for Windows

Most polished private transcription apps are Mac-only. On Windows, the choice has been open-source tools you assemble yourself. This is a finished Windows app: unzip and run. No Python, no command line, no GPU required.

Custom Vocabulary that learns from your edits

Fix a misheard name or term in the transcript once, and it's added to your vocabulary automatically — next time, the same mistake is corrected for you. You can still add or edit words by hand whenever you like.

Unlimited transcription

No minute caps, no per-hour billing. Transcribe an all-day workshop or every call your team makes — the price stays the same.

Offline after activation

Once activated, transcription works without an internet connection (annual licenses renew online about once a year). For PCs that can never go online, we can issue an offline license. The speech model is included in the download — nothing to fetch on first run.

Speakers and summaries, on-device

AI speaker separation runs on the PC. AI summaries use a local language model (a free extra download) — no cloud AI service involved.

FAQ

Is the app available in English?

Not yet. The app is released in Japanese today, and the English interface is in development. Request early access and you'll be among the first to get it.

Does any data leave my computer?

Not unless you set it up. Audio and transcripts stay on your PC. If you turn on optional email or Notion delivery, the transcript is sent to the address or workspace you choose — and the audio file only if you also choose to attach it to the email. Otherwise the app connects only to check your license and, when you ask it to, for updates — never sending audio or text. Transcription itself works offline.

Do I need a GPU?

No. It runs on a regular Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit) PC with at least 4 CPU cores and 8 GB of RAM (16 GB recommended). If you have an NVIDIA GPU (RTX 30 series or newer recommended), a free GPU pack makes it faster.

Which languages can it transcribe?

Today you can choose English, Japanese, Korean or Chinese. Need another language? Tell us in your early-access request.

How can I pay?

By credit or debit card only, charged in Japanese yen. We don't accept bank transfers or invoices for international orders.

Who can buy?

Licenses are sold for business and professional use. Customers in the EU and the UK need to enter a valid VAT number at checkout.

How does support work?

Support is provided in English, by email only. We don't offer phone support or guaranteed response times.
